My sole win from the auction of the Peter Hansen collection (because it was the only one I could afford) was a lot of three Robot Archie spot illustrations. The description says they are unpublished and all are on illustration board. This one was the thickest, the actual bord was wider than my scanner but I, like the at times over-enthusiastic Archie, rose to the challenge, albeit with less chaotic results. Two of the three are stamped 1980.

These are cool. Like photographs that are a time capsule of the past They show that Robot Archie is just like one of their pals and there's nothing strange to this.

Ha ha - great description! And Archie looks over-enthusiastic here, so I hope the others are holding on tight for some wild driving. Lovely, crisp lines on this one.
