The first publishing of the story of Robert Elliott Burns, the true story of a man wrongfully convicted and sentenced to 10 years hard labour on a Georgia Chain Gang - the story that would eventually become the hit 1932 Warner Bros film I Am a Fugitive starring Paul Muni, which would go on to influence the abolishment of chain gangs a few years later.
