Venom Illustration by Ron Frenz per Michelinie's original ASM Script

This was a fun pick up for me and my first Ron Frenz piece. A few years ago there was online debate about who created Venom and some of his distinguishing features, Ron chimed in to set the record as he saw it. Ron took writer David Michelinie's original notes for Venom's first appearance and translated those thoughts in this piece, as he interpreted them, to prove a point. Venom was body builder huge with teeth to flex his sinister grin, that's it. The sharp teeth came later and the tongue was added by Eric Larsen. KInda neat to see that Ron's interpretation was very close to what MacFarlane put in the book.
