The Avengers arrive at Attilan for a diplomatic mission unlike any other, and this densely populated page captures the full sweep of Bill Mantlo's "Moonrise" - Thor, Starfox, Captain America, She-Hulk, Vision, Wasp, and the complete Inhuman Royal Family sharing the stage in Butch Guice's precise, characterful linework. Rick Magyar's inks complete a beautifully rendered page. Guice was hitting his stride here, and this ensemble piece shows why his early work is so sought-after. An annual that deserved far more attention than it received.
