Even if you didn't like Perlin, there's the Sinnott factor that made the Defenders distinctly Marvel. Very handsome page for this team of characters that needed each other more than they realized.
There are Marvel Epic Collections (this would be in Vol 6), but these ones from the later part of the run are OOP and have a higher aftermarket price tag.
He may be the Son of Satan, but I hear he's not a bad guy!
sweet page, i love perlin art from this period, but its the sinnott inks making thks one shine
Very nice.
Love the Sinnott inks! Great content too!
Excellent 4-panel page. Joe Sinnott makes every artist look awesome! ~Congratulations on a fantastic piece!
Your'e going to need a Satana page next.
Great looking 4-panel end page! The Perlin/Sinnott combo is fantastic as usual and every panel has that clean finish. I don't really know what the haters say about Perlin but the Perlin era of Defenders comics were some of the first floppy Marvel comics back issues I ever found/read (while discovering the new release books of the 90s) so I also have fond memories of it.
Excellent art team. Just gorgeous!
Really cool!
Very classic! Sinnott's inks are just perfect!
