Celestial Jade

One more Clayburn Moore bronze added to the collection! This is "Celestial Jade", a piece from early in Clay's career. #6/40, Jane Frank represented Clayburn at one time and she originally sold this for him in 1991 - close to both the beginning of his career, and her starting Worlds of Wonder - he was among the first artists she represented. As luck would have it, Jane was able to buy it back from the owner in 2000 and it resided in the Frank Collection ever since...until now.  This is one of Moore's most famous early sculpts, and it won the Chesley Award in 1992 for Best three-dimensional work. (Photos are of a different edition owned by Clay until I can get some better photos of mine.)
