Description

Iron Fist has always been one of my favorite Marvel characters as long as I can remember. I've always loved the martial arts in movies and tv shows like the old Kung Fu series with David Carradine. It's always special when John Byrne works on him from Marvel Premiere 25, the short Iron Fist run and the first several issues when Iron Fist met Luke Cage in Power-Man #48. 

I love the flow of action while using the vertical 6 panels on this page. Like the essence of Kung Fu the attention flows seamlessly.  

I managed to get this attending OAX earlier this year from Comic Connect. Much appreciated Vince!  OAX is arguably one of the best original art cons currently running and if you are able to attend, you will not regret it.

If it's for Iron Fist fans, then these are issues that are a must!  It helped shape his fully formed character and showcased what Byrne can do in making a chain of martial arts action through his fluid storytelling.

Fabulous Iron Fist page by John Byrne and Frank Chiaramonte. Byrne is always so good at action-packed pages like this one. Love that final panel with Iron Fist throwing his opponent to the ground. Great pick-up, congrats!
