11x17" on Canson bristol board
I made the decision to put this project to bed at the end of page 4. But then Jerome Opena came to my hometown of Detroit, MI in May of 2026. I was lucky enough to score what might have been (likely was? almost certainly was) the first jampiece sketch Jerome ever worked on many years ago. Would I be lucky enough for lightning to strike twice? You wouldn't be here if the answer was no! I went into the convention prepared to spend my entire budget at his table, and prepared to "settle" for one of his predrawn pieces if it came to it. He did draw a number of head "sketches" (so good) over the weekend. Because I'm his SPECIAL BOY, I was lucky enough to get this li'l gem. I want to add that he worked like crazy on this thing. Kwan complained repeatedly about it, hahaha! So now, the question is: who follows Jerome? Some of you will be fortunate enough to stumble upon this page after it's already (God willing) been completed. For those of you who get here early, who's gettable and venerable enough to belong on this project? Please give me tips for making it happen! I swung and missed with Dan Panosian once, but his time is coming, by Crom!
