MAD Magazine #524 "Man of Steel" Caricature parody by Tom RIchmond

Titled "Man of Veal", the art measures 17" x 22" (the size of a DPS) and features old-school pen and ink techniques. I love the last panel the most, with spot-on caricatures of Amy Adams, Richard Schiff and Christopher Meloni.



Tom is the heir apparent to Mort Drucker and deservedly so. He wrote "The Mad Art of Caricature" which is a must read for any aspiring - or seasoned - caricaturist. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few years ago when I signed up for his workshop during his stay in Atlanta. Very pleasant and gracious with his knowledge of this timeless art form.
