I read Sgt Fury almost from the start and saw Dick Ayers paired with a wise variety of inkers during his monetarily run on the book.

The best inker by far was John Tartaglione on Dick's pencils.

However I was recently delighted to be able to pick up a nice page by Dick inked by the legendary Jim Mooney.

This was the first time I saw Jim's inks over Dick's pencils and I think they produced an outstanding effort.

A perfect page for Memorial Day.
