What’s “Legion Quest” without the man himself, David Haller, man of many personalities: Legion. A touching moment between mother and son. Legion tells his dear old ma: “… I’m gonna make it better! I’m gonna to make everything aliright.” Basically – “I’m going to kill Mags, so Dad’s dream of mutant prosperity will go on unchallenged.”
Instead, he fails spectacularly, accidently killing his father, Professor X, and triggers the Age of Apocalypse timeline. The best alternate timeline ever!
I love Jan Duursema cartoony style. She knows how to tell a story and make those memorable character shots.
