Description

Seems like the exact right time to post this page.

Directly after their X-men and X-adjacent artwork I would put Davis's and Farmers artwork on The Nail to be some of their finest work in comics. Just whnen yoiu thought that Aquaman couldn't look any cooler. An excellent addition to any fan of Davis, DC, Aquaman or even Aqualad (not pictured).

Alan Davis on JLA was a perfect combination. And this action-packed Aquaman page is a great get from the series! Congratulations.

Not only does it make Aquaman every bit as cool as a Nick Cardy or Jim Aparo rendition, it also contains a 'GLUURRB'! Who could ask for more? It's really dynamic and the figures are great. The punch in the final panel is brutal.

When you really think about it punches have to be thrown with so much more speed and force/power to be really effective underwater / and let alone at deep sea depths. Not really sure why that's coming to mind right now but it is what it is. Sweeet Davis page, I missed out on reading this story, will have to circle back.

The art in this is so outstanding. For years, friends told me that it was also a really good read, and a year or so ago I lucked out and found a second hand copy online, from a seller all the way out in Australia, but the price including shipping was around the same as the American cover price. I figured there had to be a catch, but it arrived in "as new" condition. Naturally it was added to the "to read" pile, but I look forward to the day I get around to it and hope the story lives up to expectations. The art certainly does!

The underwater setting and action highlights the fluidity of the Davis/Farmer team!

Great Davis/Farmer page! I suppose Aquaman is a good substitute for Excalibur?

This piece is just amazing.

When you showed it to me in person, I was blown away.

Congrats on adding this piece to your collection.

It just keeps getting better with every new addition.

Ocean Master - somehow making a cape work underwater is his greatest superpower.
