Description

This was one of my favorite childhood comics. This is one of the double page spreads that artists were forced to do as a cost saving measure at Marvel. The artists may have hated it then but the results now are beyond amazing.

Agreed that is beyond beautiful. I love the backgrounds. Full of manchiery. What a classic view. King Kirby would feel proud.

Yes, great splash for certain, but imagine it were across two full art boards.  Thanks for sharing.

Oh man, yes, totally feel you.  These 1974 pages always draw my attention to study.  In Amazing Spider-Man, you can definitely pick them all out.   I really enjoyed Sal's earlier works more than his latter, and this page is great example.
