Description

"What If the Silver Surfer Possessed The Infinity Gauntlet?" Surfer reassures the most powerful cosmic entities of his motives as god now that he wields the Infinity Gauntlet, even dismissing his former master, Galactus.

Ink and white paint over graphite and blue pencil on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.25". Punched holes in the side margins, editorial notes/marks and whiteout corrections, taped page number paste-up at the bottom, with light foxing/staining and handling wear. Signed by Eklund in the bottom margin.

It was an enthralling series and this What if opened the doors for other cosmic realities!  Scott Clark was really great over at Wildstorm and it really shows here that Marvel had enough great talents that could have got the Image style in all their books if they wanted.
