Kingdom Come Superman (Brandon Routh) by Alex Ross

Always wanted an Alex Ross original. Kingdom Come is my all-time favorite comic story and Alex Ross' art is goated. He and Jim Lee were the original reasons I wanted to get some original art. Took a long time, but excited to finally have a piece and it's of a Kingdom Come Superman.

i remember when Brandon Routh was announced to reprise his role as Superman albeit as a Kingdom Come version and saw this piece posted by Alex Ross and instantly fell in love with it.  It was such a great blend of his Superman with a tad of Routh's likeness.  It become one of my favorite versions and images of Superman by Ross. Superman's expression in this is everything.

seeing this in person reminds me of reading Kingdom Come when I was a teenager.
