Amazing Spider-Man Annual 1 (2023) Wolverine variant cover art by George Perez (1983)

I've been looking for the right George Pérez piece off an on over the years and I'm happy to have this bit of an oddball piece, which was a convention sketch drawn in 1983 of one of my favorite characters, signed again by Pérez in 1994, and then turned into an Amazing Spider-Man Annual 1 cover in 2023 as a tribute to the late George Pérez.  

Artist/painter/colirist Richard Isanove digitally added colors and digital edits to the pieace for publication. The art was used for the ASM annual 1 1:25 variant cover and a 1:100 virgin variant cover. I loved that Marvel honored the late, legendary artist with some rarely seen (new to most) images.

I believe this came from the collection of Michael Lovitz and a portion of the HA.com sale of this piece went to The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) and the Hero Initiative.

I'm happy to add my first piece from Pérez and hope to one day find the right White Tiger piece by Pérez.
