Description

Martin may not have been the best artist of the Golden Age, but his Green Lantern is the best looking character of the time and this, I think, is one of his best drawings done in his later years. I really enjoy it.

I found it on eBay and loved the coloring and the pose. It was done in 1994 when he was "only" 79. I never met the man, but GL is a favorite. Thanks, Martin.

A terrific piece, Alex. I first met Marty at one of the old Chicago Cons. I brought some old strips along, and we chatted for a long time, looking over the old stuff. He was quite a character, and a great guy.
