Battle Cat (Kaiju Edition) 1-of-1 Original Sketched Live! Official Art Battle

A completed original drawing illustrated live during the final round of the Sketched Live! broadcast challenge on YouTube. Due to the rapid format constraints of the spin-the-wheel mash-up round, this piece was rendered in roughly half the traditional time usually dedicated to a standard sketch card.

The randomly generated prompt required an animated cartoon animal reimagined as a giant Kaiju monster, situated within an atmospheric, autumnal "Fallish Forest" setting. I structured the immense scale by adding a miniature silhouette of Castle in the lower foreground corner. The rendering was executed traditionally with multi-layered markers and fine liners. The colour theory relies on a high-contrast chiaroscuro design, contrasting cool purple armor values and deep blue moonlight shadows against a warm, high-saturation under-glow radiating from the creature's bared fangs and scattered autumn leaves. Features the official "Sketched Live!" stamp in the bottom corner.
