I recently purchased this from the original owner in Avignon, France. Here's what he had to say about the piece:

"I had accompanied the Gen13 team on a bus tour in the south of France, in villages around Avignon. I was 11 years old and was specially invited as I could do the translation between the cartoonists and the happy few who were there."

The front cover is the page which contains all three artists' signatures. Jim did a nice big "cover signature" on the front.

That's a great story to accompany this sketchbook! It was a real grassroots effort back then before the frequent comic cons in Europe.
