Marc Silvestri - Savage Land Rogue

Marc Silvestri was the artist of X-Men when I started collecting the regular X-Men book - issue #220.  So he was "my" guy on X-Men even more than Jim Lee who took the book by storm a couple years later.  Finding an X-Men original or commission from Marc is both ridiculously expensive and extremely hard to do. 

So when this Savage Land Rogue - of all characters - showed up on ebay, I set my target.  I missed this piece on ebay a few years ago, and when I saw it listed anew, it was going to be hard to outbid me for it.  Luckily I got it for just under my max!  Another huge box checked on my bucket list of comic art collecting.
