Richard Isanove page from Savage Wolverine 14

The piece features the work of artist Richard Isanove, who both wrote and illustrated this specific story arc (issues #14–17). This arc is a whiskey-soaked noir tale set during the Prohibition and Great Depression eras, following Wolverine as he works as a bootlegger shipping illegal alcohol from Canada to the United States. 

This is the bottom tier from page 14.  I am a sucker for a good inkwash and this caught my eye during a Friday on Nick Barucci's Original Art show (when he showed up on time).  I liked the way the forest and horse were done.  This is a nice profile image of Wolverine in a leather jacket.

I attached the colored page for reference as well.  The inkwash has more of a nuance and feel than the printed colored page.
