Early page from Ed Benes! The story behind this page is that Loki reports to Odin that while scouting he sighted a group of Ice Giants and followed them to Jotunheim, the land of giants, where he spotted them with a tree growing Golden Apples, similar to Idunn's Golden Apple which are the source of the Asgardian's immortality. Odin sends Balder the Brave and Loki to go back to Jotunheim and to bring along some of Idunn's apples with them to compare against the apples in Jotunheim. 

Now on this page Sif is at the Rainbow Bridge venting to Heimdall about not beng chosen herself to accompany Balder, and also to express her suspicions about Loki, having seen him in a secret meeting with one of the Ice Giants. Sif decides to head out and follow Balder and warn him about Loki's mischief.
