7x19.5" layout bond paper contains graphite pencils original art for the very first Bullwinkle daily comic strip. This first introduction daily was from Monday July 23, 1962 announcing the regular series start the following day (Tuesday). Following its debut, the Bullwinkle syndicated daily strip featured original stories until 1965. Strip features main characters Rocket "Rocky" J. Squirrel and Bullwinkle J. Moose as well as antagonists Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale. Original art is by Alfred R. Kilgore (1927-1983), who signed his work Al Kilgore, was an American artist who worked on the Bullwinkle comic strip for the Bell-McClure Syndicate between 1962 and 1967. Lt. aging/handling wear.
