10x13" thin artboard contains original pencil and ink art for the back of box art for Wheeled Warriors Saw Boss by Errol McCarthy, who worked at Mattel on action figure lines like Big Jim and Masters Of The Universe. He is known for his cardback art w/the 1980s Masters Of The Universe toyline. Mattel, 1985. The Wheeled Warriors toyline was divided in the usual two factions of good Lightning League and evil Monster Minds; part vehicle and part organic plant life. The toyline saw a total of eight regular vehicles and two large motorized vehicles, evenly divided over the two factions. There was also a giant Lightning League Battle Base gift set and two accessory packs that came on blister cards. Lt. aging/handling wear. Paste-up burst at lower right.
