10x13" thin art board contains original pencil and ink art for the box art for Wheeled Warriors Terror Tank by Errol McCarthy. He worked at Mattel doing action figures like He-Man and Big Jim. He is known for his cardback art with the vintage 1980s Masters Of The Universe toy line. Errol is one of just a few artists that helped define the imagery of the MOTU brand! 1985 Mattel. The Wheeled Warriors toy line was divided in the usual two factions of good and evil. Evil being the Monster Minds, part vehicle and part organic plant life and the Lightning League, who were the good guys doing battle with the Monster Minds. The toy line saw a total of eight regular vehicles and two large motorized vehicles, evenly divided over the two camps. There was also a giant Lightning League Battle Base gift set and two accessory packs that came on blister cards. Lt. aging/handling wear. Paste-up burst at lower right.
