This one is all SCG’s fault!

I bought this from a CAF gallery. The original title and description did not mention the Spectre at all, so it never would have come across my radar. Pays to have friends who keep an eye out for you!

On top of this being just a kick-ass page, it is also one of the few pieces of original art that features the Spectre without a host. This hostless Spectre falls between Hal Jordan and Crispus Allen.

There is just so much going on here that it is almost hard to take it all in. True fire-and-brimstone type shit.

A couple of nice panels with a beaten Captain Marvel/Shazam, along with Crispus Allen and Renee Montoya looking on as the hostless Spectre destroys the Rock of Eternity and unleashes the Seven Deadly Sins on Gotham. I think you can see Gluttony right behind the bystander wearing the “I ♥ Gotham” shirt.

And where’s Batman when you need him? I think half the time they are just wasting electricity when they turn that signal on.

The middle inset panel was redrawn. The original panel showed Montoya and Allen both outside of the crashed cop car. The redrawn panel put them both inside the car, behind the shattered glass. I had ChatGPT fix that and replace the panel for me on one of the black-and-white images I posted.

This one could get framed.
