Factor-X #2 Page 13 & 14 - Age of Apocalypse - Angel, Cyclops & the Bedlam Brothers

Warren Worthington III, one of the original five X-Men, in the regular 616, but not so in this dystopian alt reality. He was the Switzerland of the Age of Apocalypse—remaining neutral while trying to keep his nightclub open amid the chaos.

I’ve always loved Worthington’s character design as Angel and Archangel and the struggle between his light and dark sides. He always has presence on the page.

Steve Epting does him full justice here with a fantastic top-down shot as Angel drops in on Mister Sinister's Elite Mutant Force—Cyclops and the Bedlam Brothers. Worthington begrudges how the war is hurting his business.

I love how Angel's wings stretch across both pages, only interrupted by the layered story panels, making great use of the double page spread’s composition.
