Prompt was for the artist to choose an athletic or sport Cyclops would be doing and in this version Don pulled in the iconic basketball scenes from X-Men 97' and Jim Lee's 90's run. I knew basketball would be a popular one! Don's mystery sketch card here is incredibly fun! Really love Scott's facial expression here!

The X-Men used to play baseball in the 80's.  Basketball was 90's introduced during the Jim Lee era as he knew the trends of the times and what would make them cool.
