the word for this is BADASS, beautiful cover, love these types when done right, i dont collect dc, but i want this cover, lol, amazing get matt
For some reason this reminds me of a 80's-90's video game!
Donkey Kong! Hahaha!
Really cool cover composition with the perpetual motion style approach as you pointed out! Far more interesting and effective than a single static image could be to get the same storytelling effect across. Also it takes me longer to put ny socks on than it takes Nightwing to do a full costume change while on the move and navigating stairs. :-/
Such a fantastic cover - one of the pieces that I think helped gain so much attention to Bruno's run on the book (and which matched the interior storytelling so well).
Huge congrats!
One of the reasons I look forward to one day reading this run is to finally read this issue, which a friend told me about a while back. Poetry in motion!
It's issue 87 to which I think you are intending to read. That's the 13 foot single panel comic —but the idea for that started here on this cover, four issues earlier.
Oh, yeah, that's the issue I was referring to. I assumed this was the cover for that story. Either way, I intent to eventually read the entire run, not just that story.
One of my favorite modern covers. Excellent get!
Really cool animation style! Like levels of a video game where he must complete his task without a wardrobe malfunction.
A flawless execution of technique and style on this one. If only we could all swing in for a quick change with that kind of dexterity, we'd all be superheroing it to work all the time.
