Angel Special: Lorne, pg. 36 (pg. 1)

From the 4-page backup story to John Byrne’s Angel Special: Lorne and the story titled “The Music of the Spheres”.  All I was looking for was a page with the crew of Angel Investigations, and thought it was cool to get a small but complete story in the process.  Plus, page one did have a lil’ roll call panel with Wesley, Spike, Illyria (Fred!), Gunn, and of course Lorne & Angel.  Additional bonuses with a Wolfram & Hart top panel.  I mean, talk about one of the greatest super villains ever: A multinational cross-dimensional evil law firm that has a Standard Perpetuity Clause for employees, so that even after death they can legally be reanimated and forced to work as the undead!  My favorite of which was the amazing temptress Lilah Morgan!  Another bonus, getting a Fred panel—what a little beaut—and even though she emerges from the grave as Illyria, she’s still a favorite of mine.  And last ups, one of my favorite scenes for Lorne, his dispatching of Lindsey!  I loved how dispassionately and matter-of-factly he shot Lindsey, which was all the colder because of how Lindsey felt only Angel had earned the right to pull the trigger, robbing Lindsey of that was too sweet. ;)
