Mandrake's an old favorite of mine, having drawn Batman and Grimjack in the 1980s, and later the masterful The Spectre with John Ostrander writing. I've been wanting to commission something from him, but when this popped up on ebay at the end of 2002, I figured why wait. Still hoping to commission something especially for me one day, although I'll be hard-pressed to choose between Grimjack or the Spectre. Pencil and markers on 8-1/2x11 cardstock.
