Description

Caniff was a tough act to follow, but George Wunder did it well for quite a while. I'm much less fond of his later work on the strip, and most his stories didn't rise to Caniff's level. But early on the art was lush and evocative. This strip makes me feel the chill in the air (literally and metaphorically) every time I look at it.
