this is a unique panel page i bought from inker randy emberlin in san diego in 1999. he gave me a good deal because i've purchased a number of pages from him. at the time i bought this, he told me a very interesting tale about how he and some other creators on the title had spent a lot of time and their own money to save the monthly book. at the time, he said, he had won a 12-month stay of execution. for the book. it didn't last, though, as the book was canceled ... only to be reborn with a second volume beginning at issue 1. this is from the first volume.
