David, I love this pic. The first comic book I ever saw Shanna she got knocked out with a (you guessed it) a rifle butt. (1972) I still have that comic book. There was a great scene that followed with her tied up lying on her back. Keep up the good work !!!!! JImmy

Jimmy -- the scene that you described is the inspiration for this pic! As you will recall, the KO scene in Shanna #1 was just a close-up shot of her face as the rifle-butt made its consciousness-robbing impact! I wanted a "full-body" perspective, and Chad Halcom delivered, with spectacular results! I am very glad you enjoyed the pic! Seeing it takes me straight back to the early 1970s, just as I was attaining puberty! The hormones were raging, and the KO scene in that issue really pushed all my buttons, if you know what I mean!

David, Yes I know exactly what you mean. Reading your comments about Shanna takes me back to the early 50's when I first met Sheena, Queen of the Jungle. It was issue # 9. Had a great knockout which is similar to this one of Shanna. The issues of Fiction House featured Sheena, Camilla, Tiger Girl. Wow, those girls were bigger than life to a boy like me at that age.
