Spider-Man by Frank Cho

In 2003, was held on April 3, and the fine folks at Phoenix Comics had an in-store with Frank Cho (who was there for a few hours before bopping up to Cards, Comics & Collectibles in Baltimore later in the day!) and Pop Mhan. It was a warm spring day and they just had the doors propped open to the outside, and between the people in line for the creators and the people in the store for the free stuff, not to mention having my 1-year-old daughter in my arms and my 3-1/2-year-old son dangling on my leg, I was pouring sweat. I felt terrible but I wasn't going to pass up this opportunity -- I can't tell you how many people have seen this sketch and said, "WHOA! YOU GOT A CHO???" Well worth it.
