Always wonder what my inks would like over John Byrne's pencils. Here is a sample of my inks done from a scan of a great pin-up by John Byrne. You may or may not have seen an email from a Jerry Livingood. I'm a bit confused. I inked a scan from John Byrne's WEBSITE. I did this with a number of his scans. I was quietly campaigning to ink him. When I set up my CAF gallery I listed these inked pieces for sale. They are clearly stated that they are inks over scans. Now I have this person complaining that I stole commissions with out their permission. Have I crossed some line I am unaware of. If I painted the Mona Lisa to see what my style might look like would that be stealing??As I STATED I was interested to see what MY inks would look like over John's pencils. From what I aware of the ACTUAL art is own by Michael Finn. Congrates on a great piece of art. ken
