Dunno what I should like more, dreamteam Silvestri / Miki or Silvestri / Batt ... !? Damn, both kick ass !!!

Actually I was looking for Silvestri Darkness art but I came across his alternate cover for Stone #1, regulary drawn by the series artist Whilce Portacio.

I thought it looks very Dark(ness)-ish ... Especially the way of the head's transition from the rest of the body from the light to shadows:

You kind of get a 3-dimensional feeling since the light from Stones fist goes from the forefront to the background so the torso keeps

lighten up but up to the top the head disappears in the shadows...

I was hunting a Silvestri cover and saw this one for sale. Same day I was searching examples of Silvestri’s work on comiciartfans and saw you nabbed it already. Killer score!
