I'd been trying to connect with Dave Newbold for some time. He inked the early issues of Marvel's Runaways title, and lives in my general vicinity. He had, unfortunately injured himself (I think he broke his arm if memory serves) and so was out of the convention/show loop for some time, but we'd e-mailed back and forth a bit. I was finally able to catch up with in in 2004 at the Baltimore Comic-Con, got him to sign my Runaways issues, and he did this nice Magneto sketch as well.
