News Syndicated was on the dilemma of choosing a Caniff substitute when he decided to move on Terry to work on Steve Canyon in 1946. The chosen was George Wunder and, in my opinion, it was a great election. I love specially the fifties era with a superb use of black and white and extremly detailed drawings. This is an example of 1956. Wunder was working on the series for 27 years until its discontinuation in 1973.
