DescriptionI gave up a GREAT splash from Superman/Batman to afford this gem but it's kind of like I went from owning a killer BMW to getting behind the wheel of a Ferrari. Sadly at the rate I'm buying art, I'll neither afford either car. In fact, how exactly am I paying rent this month??? Many thanks to Frank once again, the super skillz of Mike and of course Alex!**Note** Superman/Batman #11 was the highest selling comic for July 2004, with pre-order sales of 143,712 Social/Sharing |

Can we curse in these comments... I haven't read the fine print and don't want to violate any rules but I have a few choice four-letter expletives that come to mind right now!!! Congrats!!!

Amazing..you look at the shading and wonder how Turner did this with only a pencil. Love the expression on bats but for me its all about that killer image of Darkseid. This cover has it all. Congrats on a very fine example if not one of the best by Turner!!

I can relate to what you saying bro , art will bankrupt you to the point where you can't afford your rent ... but when I look at this piece , I want to sleep in my car holding it . Amazing piece

Considering the quality of your last Turner, it's tough to believe you managed to find something to trade UP to, but you did!

I'm not the biggest Turner fan on the planet, but that is one AWESOME looking Darkseid. Would love to see this piece in person. Really impressive pencil work here. I'm really happy for you Jeremy. I know how much this means to you and what a tough decision it was. And don't sweat the rent, you can always live in your car! =)

Truley an Amazing piece of art! I too know what your saying about the cost of having the monkey on your back when it comes to art. While talking with Frank at the Wonder Con I think I sharted when he told me prices on the Superman/ Batman covers so a big Congrats on the investment of such a fantastic cover! If you get a Van you can at least hang your art in your new home ;P

Haven't bought many single issues off the stands in the last few years as I'm more of a TPB guy these days, but this little gem of a run really pulled me in. Beautiful cover from a fantastic storyline. Congratulations!

Dude, it looks like you chose wisely. A beautiful piece by a man who had not yet reached his potential. Truly frame worthy. Congrats.

Hey - who needs money for a house payment? My wife always says one day I'll be pulling my little red wagon down the highway filled with all of my original art...but you know what, I'LL STILL BE HAPPY; ) Killer cover! Just amazing!

Great description, I feel the same way sometimes lol. This is a great Turner cover that is certainly worth having. Darkseid looks awesome in the background. It's tough to get a Turner cover but yet you got a striking one.
