Glorious 16"x21" plate of the character Grot from Kaluta's magnificent adaptation of the Metropolis novel, done completely in charcoal on textured illustration paper.

His mastery over this difficult medium is obvious. An amazing piece of work by an amazing artist.

Metroplis and his general atmosphere is something that completely turned my vision of things upside down, love this art. Must be incredible to see it in "live"!
