Description

George Evans & Reed Crandall: Classics Illustrated #168 "In Freedom's Cause," page 29 Original Art (Gilberton, 1969). The story of the exploits of William Wallace, the Scottish rebel who led an uprising against Edward the Longshanks, the cruel English ruler who wished to inherit the crown of Scotland for himself. Reed Crandall's inking on this page is superb -- he was one of the all-time greats. The image area of the page measures approximately 12" x 18". Aside from a few stains at the bottom of the page, the art is in Excellent condition.
