Description
These are politically incorrect pieces by Jack Rickard from Mad Special #3, 1970 about what would happen if “women’s lib” took over. They are on separate sheets that show a lot of blank space. I've combined and trimmed the images here for economy. Both of them consist of the drawings with women symbol overlays. In real life, I display them with the overlays up since they obscure the pictures. They are put on digitally here. The one about the man friday came true, except that Clint Eastwood is not much of a sex symbol anymore. The bottom one never did because nobody checks under the hood at gas stations anymore.

Jack Rickard was a prominent member of the third generation of Mad Magazine artists (The first being Wood, Elder, Davis and sometimes Severin, the second including Don Martin, George Woodbridge, etc.). He had a distinguished career outside the genre and died an untimely death.
