I just learnt in Byrnerobotics that it looks like Byrne sent this drawing of Dark Phoenix to Mark as seen at the top and Joe Rubinstein did the Phoenix version.

For reference - I bought this from John at San Diego Comic Con. I am the Brad he inscribed it to. Had no option as he he took it and signed it without question. I paid $300 somewhere late in the 90s. Later sold it on eBay for e nice profit and always wonder where it ended up.
