Description
Mary Worth was a pioneering and successful soap opera strip that either began in 1940 as "Mary Worth's Family" or is a continuation of "Apple Mary" that began in 1932. In its hey day, it was drawn by Ken Ernst, whose signature appears here and written by Allen Saunders, who later got in-panel credit when the signature became "Ken Ernst" and Saunders. It involves the adventures of 60-year old Mary Worth getting involved in other people's problems. I do not know anything about the story line of which this is a part.
