You must be thrilled by how this turned out, Gerry. Even without lettering, the storytelling is clear and direct. This would not be out of place in an old issue of Strange Tales. Congratulations!

Thanks,everyone - and thanks to Gerry for allowing me (ok-AND paying me ;o) to do this story- as some of you know,i did a Dr Strange/Spidey book some years ago and was to follow it up with a Dr Strange solo story in the now defunct MARVEL UNIVERSE title- Roger Stern and i had a ball with the telling of Doc's 1st time in his Sanctum Sanctorum-during the course of that story,we retold Doc's origin (i've now gotten the chance to do both of my favorite Ditko Marvel character's origins-Spidey and Doc) - sadly,the comic it was to be featured in got canceled before it was published- the art was done (and inked by my favorite inker,Jay Geldhof) but then got shelved for "a future date"-well...that day hasn't arrived yet- so Gerry's request was a very pleasant one and i thank him for the opportunity... ...and the cash...;o)

This is just spectacular. Vokes really rose to the occasion. I knew he was good, but this is just GREAT
