Jeff Smith was one of the BIG guests for the 2003 UK Comic Festival (along with Jim Lee) and he was the person I was most looking forward to meeting as I've been a huge fan of "Bone" since the early days.

It had been announced earlier in the year that Jeff would be working on a new Captain Marvel series for DC so I figured I would ask for a sketch of Fone Bone dressed as Captain Marvel (therefore killing two birds with one stone)!

Jeff told me that I was the first to ask for that... and then added "but you probably won't be the last"! And although I didn't see anyone else walking around with one I did see a guy with an amazing Fone Bone as Daredevil sketch that made me very jealous!
