Description

This was done as a "for sale" piece for the San Diego show a few years back...

the thing about starting pieces in advance of the show is a mixed bag..

I do it so that the poses and faces aren't just repeated over and over again..
meaning that at shows..with the quickness and demands of drawing "live"..
we artists tend to fall back on a limited amount of tricks, poses, faces, stock shots, etc.

but then again..maybe the quickness of the sketch would bring a certain "life" to the drawing..

like I said it's a mixed bag........
