Black Panther by John McCrea

Done at the Lille festival 2007. I was a bit affraid to ask John to draw a BP since his style can very cartoony (see his Hitman run) and maybe not suited to such a dramatic character. Then looking at the original pages from his recent JLA/Hitman mini, I saw an evolution in his work gearing towards a much sharper, less inky, one. Seeing the great Spiderman he did for fellow CAF Mark Thelosen also helped. I don't regret my choice given how well it turned out.Great sketch and the use of colored paper with white pencils is a nice plus :)
