Description

Milton Caniff, best known for his seminal Terry and the Pirates, created his other famous character Steve Canyon in 1947 soon after he stopped drawing Terry. Caniff created Steve Canyon out of a desire to own all the rights to his characters which he did not have with Terry and the Pirates.
